Are you presently agitated about how to conceive your child and select your baby gender? Or you are worried about how to conceive your child and satisfy the yarning of your spouse giving him his desired baby gender to avoid a collapse of your marriage? Or you are worried about your continuous delivery of baby boys instead of the female baby that you desire? You need not worry any longer because help is available and it is free. You need not spend a kobo to conceive your child and select the baby gender that you desire. This method is the intercourse timing method or the Shettles method created by Dr Landrum Shettles in his famous book “How to Choose the Sex of Your Baby”.

Step 1: Understanding of the female ovulation: The female is most fertile for 5 days within a particular month. Three days before the day of ovulation, the day of ovulation itself when eggs are released from the ovary and one day after ovulation making a total of five days. It is instructive to note that any intercourse within these five days has 80 – 85% chance of conceiving a child.
Step 2: Understanding of the male sperm constitution: The male sperm consists of both the X and Y chromosomes. The X chromosomes which is heavier is slower in movement, could live for between 2 and 3 days before dying and is responsible for conceiving the female gender. The Y chromosome is lighter, swifter in movement, could live for between 12 and 24 hours only before dying and is responsible for conceiving the male gender. The female ovary on its part consists of some X chromosomes.
Step 3: Timing of intercourse: Armed with the knowledge about the female ovulation and the male sperm constitution, a couple desirous of conceiving a child and selecting the baby gender of their choice will time their period of intercourse accordingly. If it a male that the couple desires to conceive, they will have their intercourse within 24 hours before the day of ovulation. Such that one of the Y chromosomes will fertilize one of the eggs released from the ovary. On the other hand if it is a baby girl that the couple desires, they will time their intercourse to within 3 days to the day of ovulation, such that one of the X chromosomes will fertilize one of the eggs released from the female ovary. If applied appropriately, there is 85% chance that one of the intercourse sessions will result in conceiving the baby gender of choice.

It should be noted however that other factors do affect how to conceive a child. Factors such as the diet consumed by the couple, orgasm during sexual intercourse and the PH level of the male sperm can affect the choice of the gender of the baby.
